The 2001 North American Mycological Association Foray

The Dr. Clyde Christensen Memorial Foray, was hosted by the Minnesota Mycological Society, and held at St. John's University, Collegeville, Minnesota, July 5 - July 8, 2001.

Principal Mycologist: Dr. Tom Volk

The weather was dry but we found many species of fungi, not only lots of polypores and other wood rotters but a surprising variety of fleshy mushrooms as well. Also, mycologists working on ascomycetes, lichens, rusts and smuts, added many species to the list.
